Overview:
We are seeking an associate with three to five years of experience to join our Technology Transactions team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced advisors, supporting both established and cutting-edge companies in shaping their IP strategies and facilitating key technology agreements.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate collaboration, partnering, licensing, and other commercial agreements, including compute contracts for companies at any stage of their life cycle (including emerging company clients and publicly traded companies). Work closely with technology companies to provide expert guidance on product strategy, development, and market positioning. Assist in navigating IP and technology aspects of complex M&A transactions and venture capital financings. Conduct research and analysis on diverse technologies, which may include AI, fintech, energy-tech, autonomous vehicles, edtech, renewable energy, AR/VR, cybersecurity, biotechnology, and digital health. Develop AI strategies and support AI product counseling workstreams.
Qualifications:
Must have at least three years of legal experience in IP and technology transactions Excellent research, analytical, drafting and communication skills Commitment to excellence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment JD is required Admission to the state bar of the office in which the candidate would be located How to
