Job Description
At Inneos, we develop and manufacture optical interconnect products for medical, military, aerospace, and commercial OEMs, as well as finished products for consumers. Our products are used as high-definition video interconnects in operating rooms, security systems, flight control, conference rooms, and some consumer applications, as well as interconnects for AI and quantum computing. We are a small company and are looking for an upstarting sales person who is a hunter (don't need farmers) that loves to uncover, pursue and close design-win deals; is intrigued by the world of high-def video, military and commercial aircraft, and laser-based products; is self-driven; likes a broad scope of work; and prefers to operate with minimal supervision. In this position, you would perform a variety of sales and order entry/management tasks, including interacting with customers, prospects, distributors and internal customers in order to obtain, maintain and grow our revenues.
Notable Duties:
Generate large list of prospects using contemporary prospecting tools and methods Identify and qualify potential customers that match Inneos' product and application competencies. Achieve quarterly and yearly sales goals/budgets established by management. Interact daily with customers, prospects and distributors' sales branches. Discuss and review outstanding Accounts Receivables with customers (as needed) Conduct presentations, sales calls and visits with prospective and repeat customers both individually and with our technical marketing engineers Summarize business development information and submit on a timely basis. Respond to opportunities and requests for quotations. Generate and collate market intelligence on customers/competitors/products. Grow own knowledge base and skill set by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; maintaining and growing professional contact networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional trade associations. Representing Inneos in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner. Requirements Minimum of three (3) year of sales experience with technical products Undergraduate degree, preferably in technical, scientific or mathematic field, or equivalent education and experience Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and communicate benefits of highly-technical products Proven history of success. Ability to legally work in the US without sponsorship Experience with some or all of the following applications is a plus: Optical transceivers, Lasers and/or photodetectors, Optical switches and optoelectronic sensors, Value Added capabilities with all product sales, New technologies for emerging market Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work independently, but a strong team player. Thrive under pressure and dynamic environment, and perform with minimal supervision. Ability to quickly learn technical terminology and the underlying meaning of Inneos technical information Ability to quickly learn new software and SAAS tools Well-organized, structured, good communicator, analytical thinker, target-driven and ambitious. Knowledge of contracts, negotiating, change management, structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Knowledge of market, company and competitors' products and applications. Basic understanding of industry trends, market activities and competitive landscapes in the electrical components business and high definition video equipment industry. Ability to write and deliver sales arguments and product business plans. Ability to develop new business Ability to travel and be productive in a remote territory.
