Job Description

Our client, a well‑established middle market investment bank, is seeking to add an experienced Investment Banking Associate to its Technology M&A team. This is an great opportunity for an Associate to gain meaningful, hands‑on experience executing sell‑side and buy‑side M&A transactions within the technology sector. The platform is known for its strong deal flow, lean deal teams, and a culture that gives Associates true ownership and responsibility across the full transaction lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their M&A skill set and build a strong foundation of closed‑deal experience. Key Responsibilities Support senior bankers in the execution of middle market M&A transactions across the technology sector (no capital markets exposure) Lead financial analysis, valuation work, and modeling (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) Prepare core marketing materials, including CIMs, management presentations, and buyer outreach materials Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, including data rooms, Q&A, and interactions with buyers, management teams, and advisors Candidate Profile 2-5 years of investment banking experience, ideally within a middle market or boutique platform Prior technology sector exposure strongly preferred (software, SaaS, IT services, internet, or tech‑enabled businesses) Demonstrated experience working on M&A transactions (sell‑side and/or buy‑side) Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with experience interfacing directly with clients and senior stakeholders Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment If you're interested, don't hesitate to apply with your resume!
