Veterinary License Teaching Full Job Description Summary:

We are seeking an engaged and innovative Veterinary Technology Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to student success, proficient in multiple learning modalities, and committed to maintaining high academic and industry standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver course material in alignment with program curriculum. Complete administrative tasks including attendance tracking, grade posting, Student Learning Outcome (SLO) assessments, and student outreach. Use student achievement and outcome data to support program improvement. Participate in program review, assessment, design, and evaluation processes. Continuously develop proficiency in applicable learning methodologies. Ensure program compliance with institutional, governmental, and accreditation standards. Serve as a subject matter expert in industry advisory boards and relevant professional associations. Build and maintain relationships with local industry partners to support the program. Engage in student-focused activities such as orientation, clubs, events, and outreach. Provide student advisement and tutoring. Mentor new faculty and participate in faculty development programs. Maintain program equipment and instructional materials. Support student persistence, retention, graduation, licensure, and placement outcomes. Model professionalism and accountability for students. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive learner support. Conduct full class sessions on time and act as a substitute instructor when needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise student conduct in classrooms, on campus, and during school-related activities or field trips.

Qualifications:

Education & Licenses:

Associate Degree as a Veterinary Technician from an AVMA or CVMA accredited program RVT License or Veterinarian License with

DEA License Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of field experience
