Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Technician and play a vital role in supporting technical operations and maintenance activities across our facilities. As an Assistant Technician, you will work closely with senior technicians to ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Duties Assist senior technicians with routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment and systems Support installation, calibration, and testing of new hardware or machinery under supervision Conduct basic diagnostics to identify issues and report findings promptly Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs Help prepare work areas by organizing tools and materials needed for technical tasks Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to ensure a secure working environment Participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills Skills Strong interest in technical systems, machinery, or electronics with a willingness to learn Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical principles is a plus but not required Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team Good communication skills to accurately report issues and updates Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift light tools or equipment as needed throughout the day Prior experience in a similar role or technical training programs is advantageous but not mandatory This role offers a supportive environment where your enthusiasm for technology can grow into valuable expertise.
