This role will focus on technology transactions, data privacy, and complex data-sharing arrangements across internal platforms and third-party partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of technology agreements, including software licenses, SaaS, data-sharing, and API/integration agreements Advise on data privacy and data protection matters, including compliance with U.S. and international frameworks Support product, engineering, and IT teams on data integrations and connected systems Provide practical, business-oriented guidance on risk allocation, data use, and security terms Partner cross-functionally with procurement, cybersecurity, and commercial teams
Qualifications:
4-12 years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house Strong background in technology transactions (software, SaaS, data, APIs) Experience advising on data privacy and data governance Ability to operate independently and collaborate with technical stakeholders Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
