Position Overview This specialized technical role ensures the precision and reliability of all measuring and testing instruments across production and laboratory facilities. You will perform independent calibrations, maintain compliance records, coordinate vendor services, and support audit activities to uphold stringent quality and regulatory standards. Core Responsibilities
  • Independently executing on-site calibrations, verifications, and adjustments for a wide variety of measuring and test equipment.
  • Creating and updating comprehensive calibration documentation that complies with ISO/IEC 17025 and
ISO 9001
requirements.
  • Coordinating external calibration services with approved suppliers, including scheduling, tracking progress, and reviewing certificates of calibration.
  • Identifying, documenting, and supporting resolution of out-of-tolerance conditions through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Managing equipment schedules and asset records within calibration management software while producing routine performance reports and metrics using Microsoft 365 and Power BI tools.
  • Participating in internal and external audits focused on measurement systems and delivering clear, professional communication at all organizational levels.
Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in metrology or related field strongly preferred. 2-5 years of hands-on calibration or metrology experience is essential along with demonstrated proficiency in Gage Pack, Microsoft 365 applications, and basic Power BI reporting. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills are critical. Up to 10% travel may be required. Physical Demands and Work Environment Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and occasional lifting of moderately heavy equipment in shop or lab environments with moderate noise and mechanical exposure.
