Position Summary We are seeking an ERP Technical Lead to provides oversight and coordination of all technical aspects of the ERP implementation, ensuring technical solutions align with City standards, architectural principles, cybersecurity requirements, and operational objectives. This role works closely with the System Integrator (SI), City IT teams, infrastructure teams, and project leadership to support the successful delivery of integrations, data conversion, environments, security, and technical readiness activities. The Technical Lead serves as a key advisor on technical risks, solution design decisions, and implementation quality while helping ensure the solution remains scalable, secure, and maintainable throughout its lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and oversight across implementation activities. Review and validate technical architecture and design documentation. Oversee integration strategy, interface design, and technical dependencies. Support data conversion planning, validation, and reconciliation activities. Review cloud platform, environment, and infrastructure considerations. Coordinate technical activities across City and SI teams. Assess technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Review cybersecurity requirements and compliance considerations. Monitor system performance, scalability, and reliability requirements. Support environment management and deployment planning activities. Participate in technical readiness reviews and go-live planning. Provide guidance on technical standards and implementation best practices. Support post-go-live stabilization and technical issue resolution. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum ten (10) years of experience leading technical workstreams for enterprise software implementations. Minimum five (5) years supporting ERP, HCM, or large-scale SaaS implementations. Experience overseeing integrations, data conversion, technical architecture, and environment management activities. Experience collaborating with infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, and application support teams. Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies, APIs, middleware, and enterprise integration patterns. Experience supporting technical testing, deployment, and go-live activities. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting public sector technology environments. Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent). ERP platform experience including Workday, Oracle Cloud, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics. Experience with cybersecurity and regulatory compliance frameworks. Additional requirements Ability to pass a criminal background check. Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
