What You Will Do:
Manage the full lifecycle of calibrated tooling, including tracking due dates, coordinating recalls, and ensuring all tools remain within compliance requirements Maintain and update calibration databases (IndySoft) with accurate tool status, location, and history to support traceability and reporting Generate and distribute recall lists, proactively communicating with production teams to ensure timely tool turn-in and prevent overdue conditions Coordinate with external calibration vendors (TMI, etc.) to ensure proper calibration intervals, specifications, and turnaround times are met Review calibration certificates for accuracy and compliance with internal procedures (MES-11-01) and applicable standards (ISO/ANSI requirements) Support audits by ensuring all tooling records, certifications, and processes meet compliance standards Investigate and document out-of-tolerance (OOT) conditions, working cross-functionally with Quality and Engineering to assess impact and resolution Manage missing tool processes, including tracking, escalation, and documentation (MES-QUAL-1126), and maintaining Lost Gage reporting Coordinate tool transactions, including intake, shipment, vendor tracking, and return to service Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve tooling issues, clarify requirements, and maintain operational flow Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and accountability within the calibration program Support implementation of tooling organization systems, including location tracking and inventory control initiatives
What You Will Bring:
High School Diploma required 1-3 years experience with compliance-driven environments (quality, manufacturing, aerospace preferred) Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities Experience coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams High attention to detail, especially with documentation and data accuracy Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes Strong communication skills with ability to follow up and drive action Experience with tracking systems or databases ( IndySoft or similar preferred) Familiarity with calibration processes, tooling control, or quality systems is a plus Microsoft Excel
  • ability to manage and update tracking logs, filter/sort data, and maintain accurate records (pivot tables or basic formulas are a plus) Microsoft Outlook
  • managing high-volume communication, sending recall notifications, coordinating with multiple teams and vendors Microsoft Word
  • documenting procedures, reports, and internal communication clearly and professionally ERP systems (SAP or similar)
  • familiarity with part tracking, transactions, or basic system navigation is a plus Basic data accuracy & recordkeeping
  • ability to maintain clean, reliable data for audit and traceability purposes
Pay Range:
$21
  • 25/hour Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.

Work Requirements:
This role is an on-site position located in Rockford, ILL You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel requirements:
Due to the nature of the work, zero travel is required.
Citizenship requirement:
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
