Company Description ARBA Retail Systems is a leading provider of Payroll Deduction POS Software, headquartered near Chicago, Illinois. We serve healthcare facilities, corporations, and independently operated retail businesses, offering innovative solutions built on Microsoft's .NET SQL framework. Our cloud-based POS applications are designed to enhance operational efficiency in cafeterias, gift shops, coffee bars, and other retail environments within the healthcare and corporate sectors. Additionally, our software helps independently owned retail stores across various industries, including pet shops, grocery stores, and hardware stores, optimize sales and increase profitability. Role Description We are seeking a POS Solutions Consultant for a full-time, on-site role located in Lisle, IL. The role involves consulting with clients to understand their requirements, providing presales support, presenting solutions, and managing sales engagements. Additionally, you will oversee project management tasks to ensure successful POS implementations and facilitate customer satisfaction. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to evaluate client needs and suggest appropriate solutions Experience in consulting and providing guidance to clients on software solutions Proven ability in presales and sales processes, including product presentations and negotiations Project management expertise to lead implementations and coordinate cross-functional teams Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Proficiency in Microsoft SQL-based applications is a plus Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred Previous experience in the POS or retail technology industry is beneficial
