Each Chicago, IN Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Quality Systems Specialist at our Indiana Harbor facility. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, extensive manufacturing experience, and effective communication skills in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Maintain Quality System including A2LA accreditation and IATF certifications through activities such as internal auditing, document maintenance and MSA. Maintain, audit and revise quality-related processes, including test reporting, metrics development and distribution, efficiency tools, IT project management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Support and maintain the legacy order entry system. Work effectively within a team environment, utilizing clear and effective communication skills. Recommend new technology to satisfy changing customer and marketplace demands. Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance, and other technical resources to drive results. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or relevant work experience. Proficient in Power BI reporting and data visualization. Experience in multiple computer programming languages; ability to interpret SAS code and convert into Power BI. 5 years' of experience in manufacturing legacy systems. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
10 plus years of experience in manufacturing legacy systems. Knowledge of external customer requirements.
