Subaru Manufacturing Department Position Summary:
The Poka-Yoke Associate is responsible for collaboration on the design, fabrication, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of all respective Poka-Yoke equipment within their Section. The Poka-Yoke associate is also responsible for investigations and countermeasure activity of any process or equipment-related issues with the Poka-Yoke equipment and programs.
Outline of duties:
Collaborate with Shop Management, Engineering, and Maintenance on placement, design, and set up of production Poka-Yoke equipment. Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering on the establishment, modification, and monitoring of the programs related to station quality control within the Poka-Yoke mediums. Diagnosis and repair of basic issues within the Poka-Yoke equipment. Investigation and countermeasure activity related to Poka-Yoke processes. Work alongside a team to complete manufacturing processes towards the final assembly of Subaru vehicles. Participate in Safety, Environmental, and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) activities. All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma (or GED) 1+ years of Manufacturing Production or related experience Advanced computer skills (Excel) Basic understanding of computer logic Fundamental knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints or engineering drawings. Proven Kaizen mindset
Desired Qualifications:
