Our reputation is built on technical excellence, quality results, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our team. Position Summary The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships while promoting our analytical testing services. This is a technical sales role requiring a strong scientific background and the ability to communicate complex analytical capabilities to customers. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with little to no travel required. Responsibilities
  • Respond to and qualify incoming sales leads.
  • Consult with clients to understand testing requirements and recommend appropriate analytical methods.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through cold-calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and other business development activities.
  • Identify and pursue prospective customers in target industries to expand the company's client base and increase sales revenue.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals for laboratory services.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and accurately to customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Coordinate with laboratory personnel to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Follow up on inquiries, proposals, and existing accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals. Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
  • Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory testing services.
  • Familiarity with a variety of analytical techniques, including: o ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) o GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) o INAA (Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis) o XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) o XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) o CHNO Analysis o HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) o And other related analytical methodologies
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred
  • Previous experience in technical sales, laboratory services, analytical chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a commercial testing laboratory environment. Compensation & Benefits
