Position Summary:
Our Commercial Sales Representative develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of the company's products and services. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Maintain assigned sales quota and follow established guidelines Identify prospects utilizing creative lead generating techniques Present sales presentation and proposal to prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition. Adhere to current Guardian policies, procedures, products, programs and services Follow up with prospects Prepare final contract for signature Process work order and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures Maintain customer retention by affirming customer satisfaction after the completion of service installationWhat You'll Need :
5+ years prior business to business sales experience preferred. Commercial Security experience highly preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills Must possess strong communication, negotiating, and time management skills Flexible Style; perseverance; action oriented; interpersonal savvy Aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach); customer focused Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work a full-time schedule Must be able to safely complete site surveys which may include: Walking long distances on uneven surfaces, in tight quarters, and of varying heights. Endure extremes in temperature, dependent on weather and industry type. Must be able to manage time to the expectation of the client to include prompt response to inquiries, timely arrival for appointments and a maximum of a 72- hour turnaround on proposals Must be able to manage the requirements and obligations that come with large concurrent projects and the impact on several departments such as sales, engineering, CAD, operations and purchasing Must be on the start of all jobs that are of a time and material basis.
