Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Educational Technologies or related field. Massachusetts DOE certification in Instructional Technology or related field A minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience, with extensive knowledge in the integration of technology in an educational setting. Knowledgeable about hardware/software and school software inventory. Possesses expert working knowledge of the Windows operating system and Google Suite Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. Ability to relate well to others.REPORTS TO

: NoneROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: While actual roles and responsibilities will vary depending on individual circumstances, the Technology Integration Specialist will generally be required to perform some or all of the following tasks. Note that this list in not all-inclusive and that the administrator may also assign other tasks they deem appropriate. Establishing and Maintaining Systems Establishes and maintains a coordinated system to inventory student devices (chromebooks and tablets) Organizes and oversees the process to issue student devices to students, including completion of conduct forms, update of device policies, and readiness of student devices. Establishes and maintains a system for students to return or exchange devices. Collaborates with Site Leaders to ensure school systems for technology are set up to support student learning. Establishes and maintains a system for receiving student/family technical support tickets. Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the school's long term technology plan Makes recommendations for purchasing and renewal of software and programs. Maintains inventory of student and teacher accounts and passwords for all programs. Staff Support Identifies priority areas for professional development at the start and throughout the school year based on a variety of sources, including a survey of staff members' technology ability, newly implemented programs, changes in policies and procedures, updates to software, and gap/challenge areas. Trains staff on all programs required to be used in their classrooms/roles. Models as necessary. Supports teachers in integrating various programs and technology for classroom use. Organizes educational programs and training materials for easy accessibility. Assists staff in meeting the technology needs of all students, including assistive technologies for students with disabilities. Student/Family Support Serves as a technical support resource for students and families in all technology related issues. Responds to student and family reports of technology issues within 24 hours and work to resolve the issue. Conducts regular Google Meet training sessions with students and families to support with ongoing technology concerns or issues. Works with support staff to help families access internet resources in the community Collaborates with IT Manager to problem solve any issues that do not have immediate solutions. Reports IT repair issues to the Information Technology Manager. Cultural Standards Establishes and maintains cooperative and effective working relationships with all members of the school community to carry out responsibilities. Interacts professionally with a diverse range of constituents. Maintains an attendance record that meets or exceeds an acceptable standard as defined by ACS policy. Takes responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks, projects, and duties while maintaining a professional manner. Makes efficient use of time by organizing and prioritizing work efficiently. Presents a professional appearance by adhering to ACS dress code. Is actively engaged in job/career growth by attending inservice programs, professional development, educational courses and seminars. Actively listens and responds in a respectful non-confrontational manner to the opinions of others. Fosters positive attitude in the workplace.
