- Your role and responsibilities
- As a Maximo Functional Leader specializing in Asset Management, you will leverage your deep understanding of IBM Maximo to analyze functional requirements and create technical designs.
Your primary responsibilities will include
Develop Technical Designs:
Create detailed technology architecture and implementation strategy for asset management solutions, utilizing your expertise in IBM Maximo to drive high-quality technical implementationGuide Solution Development:
Lead all technical aspects of solution development and integration, ensuring adherence to quality standards and collaborating with teams as neededReview Technical Work Products:
Ensure that technical work products meet quality standards, reviewing and providing feedback to maintain excellence in solution delivery- Contribute to
Software Development Life Cycle:
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from specifications to debugging and testing, applying your expertise to drive successful outcomesCommunicate Technical Architecture:
Effectively communicate technical designs and implementation strategies to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and design documents
- Facilitate client facing discovery and design workshops
- Provide expertise in Maximo application functionality and workflows
- Configure and customize Maximo modules such as Work Order, Asset, Inventory, and Contracts
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure Maximo integrates seamlessly with other enterprise systems
- Lead large teams in complex projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards
- Provide training, support, and documentation to end-users, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT
- Collaborate with project managers and technical architects to estimate project effort and define project timelines
- Troubleshoot issues, support system performance, and manage ongoing enhancements
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and Maximo enhancements to provide innovative solutions to clients.
- Required technical and professional expertise
- Extensive experience (12+ years) as a Maximo Functional Leader, working with IBM Maximo EAM and or IBM Maximo Application Suite of products
- Extensive experience (12+ years) in creating and delivering project level documentation (i.e. client briefs, reports, etc)
- Experience (8 years) in project management
- Experience with Maximo customization using Automation Scripting
- Knowledge of Maximo Asset Management modules, including Work Order, Asset, Inventory, and Contracts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
- Experience in leading and managing complex teams is a plus
- Experience building client relationships with entire project team up through C-suite
- Ability to work in an Agile environment
- Maximo certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Deployment Professional
- Maximo Asset Management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred technical and professional experience
- Understanding or experience with Maximo Application Suite architecture and its offerings (Monitor, Health, Predict).
Experience in the Energy and Utilities industry, across Transmission, Distribution and Generation for Gas, Electric and Nuclear.
Understanding of Maintenance Excellence, Asset Reliability Principles and Strategies.
