JOB DETAILS
This is a hands-on, fast-paced workshop role where precision, consistency, and technical curiosity matter. As a PDI Workshop Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring every device that leaves our workshop is fully built, configured, and ready to perform perfectly in a client environment. You will take ownership of the full pre-delivery process - from unboxing through to final testing and preparation for dispatch. If you enjoy working with technology, solving practical challenges, and seeing tangible results from your work, this role offers a strong sense of achievement and impact. What You Will Be Doing Assembling and preparing photocopiers and printers for deployment Installing peripherals and upgrading firmware Configuring devices to meet specific client requirements Completing system initialisation, calibration, and functional testing Applying manufacturer and Apogee settings Preparing devices safely for transportation Maintaining accurate records across internal systems Keeping the workshop organised, safe, and efficient
Hours:
Mon to Fri 08:00 - 17:00 42.5 hours per week
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential:
Experience in a hands-on, technical, mechanical, or production-based environment (for example workshop, assembly, IT hardware, or similar) OR demonstrable practical technical ability (such as building or repairing equipment) Comfortable using computers and basic software such as Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to follow technical processes accurately and consistently Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and right-first-time delivery Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively Reliable, punctual, and able to manage workload effectively We value candidates with AI literacy - individuals who are curious about technology, comfortable exploring automation, and eager to contribute to a modern, forward-thinking business.
