About the Role As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will serve as the primary engineering liaison for our industrial automation account teams. You will leverage your technical background to solve complex process control challenges, ensuring our clients receive high-performance solutions that drive operational efficiency and long-term success. Responsibilities Act as the central technical point of contact for account managers, providing expert guidance on control valves, regulators, and valve automation systems. Translate complex customer specifications into precise, actionable engineering quotations and technical proposals. Drive business growth by proactively managing the sales cycle, from initial technical inquiry to final order fulfillment. Ensure seamless project execution by reviewing purchase orders for technical accuracy and resolving discrepancies with internal stakeholders. Deliver exceptional value by troubleshooting process automation issues and recommending optimized product configurations. Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with clients across sectors like Life Sciences, Energy, and Chemical processing. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Computer/Technology fields). 2+ years of experience in technical sales, engineering, or industrial operations. Demonstrated proficiency in CRM software and advanced Microsoft Office tools. Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple technical priorities simultaneously. Preferred Skills Experience supporting clients within the process automation or instrumentation industry. Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet sales targets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professional client engagement.
