The position is full time; day, evening and weekend availability is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
- Collaborates and coordinates with the Director of Surgical Technology in managing the program.
- Works with the program director and faculty to design, develop and implement the surgical technology courses.
- Evaluates student learning outcomes and documents learning process.
- Provides leadership and support to coordinate the delivery of clinical education. Mentors new faculty, evaluates new faculty and existing faculty.
- Work schedule includes 15-20 hours of teaching per week, as well as administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- 4 years of practice of surgical technology
- 2+ years of instructional experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master's degree is preferred
