The position is full time; day, evening and weekend availability is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
  • Collaborates and coordinates with the Director of Surgical Technology in managing the program.
  • Works with the program director and faculty to design, develop and implement the surgical technology courses.
  • Evaluates student learning outcomes and documents learning process.
  • Provides leadership and support to coordinate the delivery of clinical education. Mentors new faculty, evaluates new faculty and existing faculty.
  • Work schedule includes 15-20 hours of teaching per week, as well as administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • 4 years of practice of surgical technology
  • 2+ years of instructional experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree is preferred
Pay:
$35.00 per hour
