Essential Job Functions:
Assist infrastructure and support teams with summer technology deployment and preparation projects. Collect, process, and distribute iPads as part of our district-wide device refresh. Replace, configure, and set up new Apple TVs across district classrooms. Assist with installation of classroom smartboards Assist with upgrading and refurbishing device charging cabinets Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Successful performance of the job requires good customer service/people skills and to handle problems and provide information and technical assistance as requested. It requires complying with safety guidelines and policies to reduce accidents or injury to staff or to students. It requires following school dress standards, proper attendance or leave policies, and other work-habits concerns for staff. Creativity, initiative and effective problem solving are critical to the success of the position. Provide training and support to district staff in the use of computer systems. Perform such tasks to the ultimate benefit of the educational program. An incumbent in this position will utilize discretion, ingenuity and independent judgment due to the complexity of the job. Since there may be several ways to solve a problem, an incumbent is often free to choose the solution. On a workday, the employee must stand/walk 4 hours per day. Employee's job requires frequent bending/stooping, squatting/crouching, crawling/kneeling, and pushing/pulling; occasional climbing (6-foot ladder) and reaching above the shoulders. Employee's job requires occasional carrying/lifting of up to 50 pounds to move computers and printers. Applicant MUST turn in OSBI background receipt and employee process with personnel prior to starting position. Employee is responsible for the $58.25 OSBI background check.
