We partner with enterprise clients, low-voltage contractors, and distributors to deliver high-performance connectivity systems across commercial and mission-critical environments. Position Overview We are seeking a Business Development / Sales Professional to drive growth in the eastern Chicago market. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of structured cabling and data center infrastructure products — and the ambition to build relationships that expand our footprint in the commercial and enterprise sectors. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities within commercial, enterprise, and data center markets. Build and maintain relationships with distributors, low-voltage contractors, and end users. Promote structured cabling solutions, including copper and fiber optic systems, server racks, cabinets, power, and related products. Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to support client requirements and project delivery. Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve growth and revenue targets. Track market trends and competitive activity to identify new areas of opportunity. Qualifications 3-5+ years of proven experience in business development or sales within the structured cabling , data center , or low-voltage industry. RCDD accreditation or similar technical credentials is a plus. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Solid understanding of network infrastructure products and installation practices. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven, results-oriented approach. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader team.
