To date, we have launched and operate Metal Pay (digital banking and crypto wallet) and XPR Network, a distributed ledger for identity and interaction with the card and banking payments settlement layer.
About the role:
This role serves as the primary technical advisor and implementation lead for participating financial institutions, helping partners integrate digital asset capabilities into their existing banking ecosystems. The Implementations Associate will work closely with credit union executives, core banking providers, digital banking vendors, and internal product, compliance and engineering teams to deliver successful deployments and drive partner adoption. The ideal candidate combines expertise in financial services technology, API integrations, payments infrastructure, and project management, with a passion for helping regulated financial institutions modernize their member offerings. What you'll do: Guide partners through the integration of the Metal Pay API and related platform services. Support implementation of account funding, payments, cryptocurrency trading, wallet functionality, and identity verification. Assist partners with API authentication, data mapping, testing, and production deployment. Collaborate with core banking providers, digital banking platforms, and fintech vendors to establish seamless interoperability. Facilitate integration requirements across banking systems, member-facing channels, and operational workflows. Coordinate technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders to resolve implementation challenges. Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Security teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and operational requirements. Assist partners in understanding technical and operational controls required for digital asset programs. Monitor partner health and identify opportunities to increase utilization of Metal Pay services. Collect partner feedback and advocate for enhancements to platform capabilities and implementation processes. Develop implementation guides, technical documentation, onboarding materials, and best practices.
Location:
We are a fully remote team. Candidates may be based in the US and must be available to work during our core hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time. What you'll bring to the table: 3+ years of experience in technical account management, solutions engineering, implementation management, fintech partnerships, or integration leadership. Experience working with credit unions, fintech companies, or financial technology platforms. Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, authentication protocols, and integration architectures. Experience managing technical projects involving multiple stakeholders and external partners. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive, business, and technical audiences. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with or interest in cryptocurrency, digital assets, blockchain technology. Knowledge of payments infrastructure including ACH, RTP, FedNow, debit card processing, and digital wallets. Understanding of financial services regulations including BSA/AML, KYC, and cybersecurity requirements.
