Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and driven Agriculture Equipment Sales Representative to join our growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling new/used agricultural equipment, creating rental agreements, and building strong customer relationships. Using your skills, you will be providing knowledgeable solutions to local producers and contractors. This position is built for success, offering a strong, dependable base salary paired with performance-based commission —giving you the stability you want with the earning potential you're after. In addition, you'll have access to manufacturer-backed spiff programs and incentives , creating even more opportunities to boost your income throughout the year. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories Conduct outside sales activities, including cold calling, product demos, and face-to-face meetings with prospective clients Manage existing accounts through effective account management practices, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships Represent Agassiz Equipment & Rental and introduce customers to our equipment lineup Present tailored product solutions via technical sales presentations and product demonstrations to meet customer needs Negotiate contracts and close deals by applying strong negotiation skills and understanding customer requirements Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific strategies that maximize sales potential Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally Support management in analyzing market trends and identifying new opportunities for growth Skills Proven experience in outside sales, or territory management with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously Expertise in business development, lead generation, and direct sales techniques, including cold calling and upselling Familiarity with CRM software, such as for tracking prospects, pipeline, and customer interactions Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills to build trust and close deals effectively Knowledge of marketing strategies that support territory expansion and brand awareness Ability to deliver compelling product demos and technical sales presentations confidently Analytical skills to assess used equipment to ensure trade-in values are correctly assigned Experience in technology or retail sales is a plus; familiarity with CRM tools is essential Strong organizational skills for territory management, analysis, and planning Join us as an Agricultural Sales Representative if you're passionate about driving growth through innovative sales strategies!
