If you are looking to join a team of committed and skilled IT support professionals, we are interested in talking to you! Role description We are looking for a motivated individual with a desire to provide efficient and high-quality support to clients and internal staff in an IT support and consulting organization. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities. Experience with ticketing, remote monitoring and management systems is a definite plus. This is a full-time position working from our office in Providence, Rhode Island.
Essential Skills and Characteristics:
  • Associates Degree in Information Technology or similar discipline, or 2+ years working in an IT support role.
  • Technically curious, passionate about technology, and a deep desire to understand how things work.
  • Strong customer service skills including follow-up and follow-through.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and complete assigned duties on-time.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Windows 10 and/or Apple macOS.
  • Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office productivity applications (Word, Excel, etc).
  • Enjoys working in a team environment and supporting your co-workers.
  • Willingness to expand and maintain your knowledge base to stay current with new technologies.
Nice to have:
  • Skills using RMM and PSA tools used for monitoring customer systems, ticket management, and configuration documentation. Additionally, you should be able to meet the following requirements:
  • Work 9am-5pm EST/EDT, Monday through Friday, from our office on the east side of Providence, RI.
  • Able to occasionally work outside normal business hours as needed to support our clients.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and be able to work in a variety of environments such as education, medical, and commercial businesses. We offer several things that distinguish us from other employers, which include but are not limited to:
