Key Responsibilities Support engineers and scientists in conducting field tests, data collection, and inspections for various projects, including DOE, DOD, and commercial contracts. Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, reports, and documentation using engineering software. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot technical equipment, ensuring proper functionality during project execution. Perform routine fieldwork and inspections, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting to senior engineers. Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and project-specific standards. Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve technical challenges during the project lifecycle. Flexibility required. Within reason, changes to directives, assigned responsibilities, or work-related activities may be necessary at any time to respond to shifts in working conditions, opportunities, or company objectives. Education, Experience and Requirements Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a related field or a combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree (required). 2 years of experience as an engineering technician or in a similar technical support role (required); experience with government or regulated projects (preferred). Familiarity with earthwork and geosynthetics construction procedures and quality control/quality assurance testing (preferred). Relevant technical certifications in equipment operation or safety (preferred). Requires familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD), testing equipment, and standard operating procedures in the field. Must receive a satisfactory pre-hire drug screen and background check. Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record. Must be able to meet the physical requirements.
