Overall Purpose of the Job Expro is currently recruiting for a Sales Representative to join our Midstream team in the Houston, Texas area. The successful candidate will provide pre-sales technical support to clients, ensuring that appropriate technical and commercial solutions are developed and delivered to satisfy the needs of the client. Key Activities and Accountabilities Provide front line sales and technical liaison with existing and potential clients on an ongoing basis, and act as a focal point for all client interactions including technical audits, invoicing and payments. Establish positive client relationships to ensure that agreed requirements are fully understood and met, maintaining close liaison throughout the project to ensure client satisfaction is high and that any areas of concern are addressed promptly. Conduct sales presentations to clients/provide technology updates and participate in sales and client meetings. Under the leadership and direction of Management, develop and agree a sales plan and targets for achieving profitable growth of business. Assist in pricing guidance to ensure that margins are optimized. Support the business in identifying opportunities for technology-based new business and developing appropriate strategies for delivery. Assist with the negotiating of tender and contract terms to meet both client and company needs including assisting in their preparation and their associated commercial evaluations and business cases in collaboration with the Business Development and Commercial Management Identify opportunities for increasing revenues through improved understanding of all clients' requirements and effectively communicate job or project requirements to Operations ensuring seamless services to our clients. Support and, where appropriate, participate in industry technology/trade show events promoting Expro products and services. Implement Marketing Strategy for improving product and industry awareness within the product line. Record and maintain up to date customer opportunities and Region or Area Key Performance Indicators within applicable database(s), e.g., Salesforce.com. Liaise with internal departments to ensure all information on equipment and manpower availability are obtained and technical queries are resolved in a timely manner. Communicate with manager on any issues or concerns. Actively adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained. Comply with applicable Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) policies, procedures, processes and systems. Ensure objectives set under the Employee Development Plan are met satisfactorily and timely. Job Knowledge and Qualifications
  • 5+ years' work experience within Technical or Sales role preferably with Midstream experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams).
  • Experience in Salesforce.com.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time within the US.
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment screening (ie background check, drug/alcohol testing and physical).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, and smell.
  • Requires occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and exertion of force up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to see objects close, afar, and use peripheral vision is required.
  • Ability to hear and take verbal direction, sometimes over loud ambient noises.
  • Works indoors, occassionally outdoors and may be subject to cold, warm, wet or humid conditions resulting from weather or other various conditions.
