Job Description

The eDiscovery Technician will support IT data collection activities by performing device queries, remote diagnostics, and data collection using approved enterprise tools. This role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate across technical, business, and global support teams. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized, and proactive about identifying process efficiencies. This is a contractor role requiring flexibility, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment. Qualifications Soft Skills Strong problem solving abilities, including identifying alternative data collection methods when standard approaches are unavailable. Excellent collaboration and teamwork, with a strong work ethic and ability to partner effectively across technical and business teams. Clear and proactive communication skills, including the ability to articulate ideas, raise risks or blockers, and provide status updates to team members, stakeholders, and technical support groups. Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed to collaborate with global/international support teams (CES and PAA). Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment. Fast learner who is detail oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously. Proactive mindset, with the confidence to suggest process improvements and efficiencies. Technical Skills Experience with Microsoft Entra Admin Center (formerly Azure AD) and the ability to query cloud management repositories for device related information. Foundational knowledge of network connectivity protocols, diagnostic tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Preferred / Plus
Skills PowerShell proficiency, including: Permission and access management Disk operations (encryption, scanning, error handling) Robocopy usage General disk and storage management Remote access and endpoint support tools, such as BeyondTrust and Nexthink. Experience with FTK (Forensic Toolkit) for eDiscovery data collection. Experience using ServiceNow ITSM, including request management workflows and ticket handling.
