Technology Student Technician

Primary Purpose:

Assist Technology staff with assigned tasks including but not limited to relocation and setup of technology equipment, maintenance of technology equipment, basic hardware/software troubleshooting, etc.

Qualifications :

Education/Certification Currently enrolled High School student or recent high school graduate. Special Knowledge/Skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and comply with established procedures Ability to use good judgement.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist Technology staff in the completion of assigned duties. Provide friendly and responsive service and support to all stakeholders. Demonstrate integrity and ethics Contribute to an accurate inventory of all Technology systems and services in use district wide. Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Technology Services.

Working Conditions Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

Moderate standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving up to 30 pounds; unboxing and installing new items; prolonged sitting and use of computer; repetitive hand motions; occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
