Systems Services & Support Consultant

Job Summary The Systems Services & Support Consultant will be responsible for coordinating and managing SSH key rotation activities across enterprise data transmission platforms. This role serves as a central point of contact between internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure secure, compliant, and timely execution of key management processes. The position requires strong project coordination skills combined with technical knowledge of data transmission, authentication, and enterprise infrastructure environments. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end SSH key rotation activities for vendors and clients. Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, and clients to align schedules and execution plans. Track milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies, and communicate status updates proactively. Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements related to key management and data transmission. Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards, timelines, and compliance requirements. Facilitate meetings, drive follow-ups, and ensure accountability across stakeholders. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to assess technical impacts and readiness. Maintain documentation, runbooks, and communication related to key rotation activities. Identify opportunities to standardize, streamline, and automate SSH key management processes. Required Qualifications Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. Excellent communication and relationship management skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional enterprise environment. Solid technical understanding of data transmission technologies and secure data exchange principles. Experience with file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTP/S, NDM, AS2, and API-based transfers. Knowledge of SSH keys, authentication mechanisms, and secure communication practices. Working knowledge of mainframe systems, distributed applications, and cloud service platforms. Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly insights. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting or coordinating enterprise security-related initiatives. Background in large-scale data movement, batch processing, or data transmission platforms. Exposure to audit, risk, or compliance-driven programs related to data security. Familiarity with automation, monitoring, or reporting tools in operational environments.
