Job Description

JOB REPORTS TO
Director of Technical Services, Joey Turner
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Provide product support to both commercial and residential customers. Assess commercial customer mechanical and floor plans for product placement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical product support to international and domestic distribution partners, commercial customers, and homeowners.
  • Review mechanical plans or floor plans, notate dimensions and product type & placement for commercial customers.
  • Arrange product returns from the field and assist in understanding failure root causes.
  • Assist with the customer service phone queue as needed.
  • Travel for onsite evaluation as needed.
  • Relay customer questions and concerns to the engineering team.
  • Manage Large Enterprise Projects on a need basis, domestic or International.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Familiarity with reading and understanding mechanical plans
  • Familiarity with software used to markup mechanical plans i.e. Bluebeam Revu 20, CAD, etc.
  • Basic electronics knowledge
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to communicate effectively by phone, email, and video conferencing.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work/project parameters.
  • Ability to travel inside and outside of the United States.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines while managing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to communicate and present in in-person meetings with staff or customers.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.

MUST BE ABLE TO DO ALL THESE AT SAME TIME!
Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to quiet and office is in a clean environment while in the Bristol, VA office. Conditions can very during customer onsite visits and may require proper PPE to enter the customer's workplace.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Graduate, may also require Bachelor's degree or five years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. HVAC Technical Certification is a plus. The employee is expected to adhere to all company policies and work rules.
