Sand Loader

The Sand Loader loads bulk materials with moderate supervision and increased responsibility. This role includes documenting loads, troubleshooting minor issues, and assisting in quality control during the loading process.

SHIFT:

11:00PM-7:00AM High School Diploma and GED required. High level of safety and quality. Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.). Good problem-solving skills. Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge

• Preferred. Computer Software
• Preferred. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), WonderWare or equivalent equipment process software, JD Edwards (JDE)
• Preferred.

Safety Responsibilities:

Personal Protective Equipment will be worn at all time while on duty (hard hat, hard toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves) Before work begins on any shift, visually inspect equipment and work area to ensure both are in safe operating condition. Document this inspection on workplace exam Follow all company safety and health policies Report any unsafe conditions to management for repairs. Any defects will be barricaded, and a notification will be posted. Equipment will be locked and tagged out as required Report all accidents immediately

Environmental Responsibilities:

Keep all high traffic areas clean and clear of any trash, debris, tools, hoses, or other miscellaneous items (use proper procedures for oil and other lubricants leaks and spills) Follow and maintain all applicable standards related to Environmental Compliance Report any Environmental events to plant management

Production Responsibilities:

Operate and inspect all sand loading equipment safely and efficiently according to plant standards Conduct product sampling in accordance to Quality Control Documents to ensure quality product is being loaded Conduct minor maintenance on all equipment (chutes, silos, bucket elevators, conveyors, Railroad tracks). Lock and Tag Out equipment properly. Provide specific information on any maintenance or other downtime reasons Load rail cars and semi trucks Safely and effectively perform ground work for moving rail cars around the rail yard, and across an active highway. Operate Trackmobile Additional duties as assigned
