Sand Plant Maintenance Positions

Wallstreet Sand Co. - Kermit, TX Wallstreet Sand Co. is currently hiring for multiple positions within our Maintenance Department at our frac sand operations in Kermit, Texas. We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable working in demanding outdoor industrial environments and who take pride in safety, reliability, and teamwork. We are currently hiring for FOUR different maintenance positions: Sand Plant Maintenance Technician Maintenance Helper Diesel Mechanic (Plant & Yellow Iron) Overnight Lube Technician Candidates with experience in frac sand, mining, aggregate, agriculture, ranching, farming, construction, oilfield, heavy equipment, or industrial maintenance environments are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a physically demanding environment in the Permian Basin desert involving heat, dust, wind, noise, long hours, and outdoor work conditions. Pay $20.00 - $40.00 per hour Pay dependent on position and experience Opportunities for advancement as operations continue to grow Schedules Schedules vary by position and operational needs. 12-hour shifts are expected across all positions Days, nights, weekends, and overtime may be required depending on position and workload Positions Available 1. Sand Plant Maintenance Technician Responsibilities may include: Troubleshooting and repairing sand plant equipment and systems Working on conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, screens, pumps, and other plant equipment Performing preventative maintenance and inspections Assisting with plant shutdowns and repairs Maintaining safe and organized work areas Working closely with operations personnel to minimize downtime

Preferred Experience:

Industrial maintenance Sand plant, mining, aggregate, or processing facility maintenance Welding, fabrication, or mechanical troubleshooting experience Experience working around conveyors and material handling systems 2.

Maintenance Helper Responsibilities may include:

Assisting maintenance personnel with repairs and daily maintenance tasks Cleaning and organizing work areas and tools Assisting with greasing, inspections, parts handling, and equipment cleanup Using hand tools and power tools safely Supporting plant housekeeping and maintenance operations

Ideal Candidates:

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Comfortable performing physically demanding labor outdoors Basic mechanical aptitude preferred Agriculture, ranching, farming, oilfield, construction, or industrial labor backgrounds are a plus 3. Diesel Mechanic (Plant & Yellow Iron) Responsibilities may include: Diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery Working on loaders, haul trucks, skid steers, forklifts, generators, and other yellow iron equipment Supporting both plant equipment maintenance and mobile equipment repairs Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Completing inspections and repair documentation

Preferred Experience:

Heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience Experience with CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, or similar equipment Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting experience Experience in mining, construction, oilfield, agriculture, or industrial operations 4. Overnight Lube Technician Responsibilities may include: Performing preventative maintenance and lubrication services on heavy equipment and plant equipment Checking fluid levels, greasing equipment, changing filters, and performing routine inspections Maintaining maintenance records and reporting equipment concerns Supporting overnight maintenance operations and equipment readiness Working safely around active equipment and industrial operations

Preferred Experience:

Heavy equipment lubrication or preventative maintenance experience Familiarity with loaders, haul trucks, forklifts, and industrial equipment Strong attention to detail and reliability General Requirements Ability to work outdoors in heat, dust, wind, and changing weather conditions Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed Strong attendance and reliability required Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and industrial operations Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures Preferred Qualifications Previous frac sand plant, mining, aggregate, construction, oilfield, agriculture, ranching, or industrial experience Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Welding or fabrication experience a plus MSHA training or willingness to obtain certification Experience working long hours in physically demanding outdoor environments About Wallstreet Sand Co.
