Job Description:
This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work areas and, assembling and disassembling equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Dry pickup area. Break down and set up equipment where needed. Use of high-pressure hose to rinse area and floor. Use of various chemicals to foam and scrub floor. Visually check area for cleanliness. Ability to work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA. Uphold the principals of
SQF 2000.
Work schedule will vary depending on production Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. Ability to become certified in Tyson's Lock Out/Tag Out program. Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment. Familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals. Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. "
Physical Requirements:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation." Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months. Preferred candidates will have at least 6 MThs of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience. Newbern does not accept rehires
