Job Description

Shift:
10:00 PM-6:00
AM Hourly Rate:
$23.45 an hour + $0.75 shift differential Reporting to the Sanitation Team Leader, you will support sanitation and basic janitorial operations at our Louisville, Kentucky facility. You will work onsite in a manufacturing environment to ensure equipment, production areas, and facility spaces are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to meet safety, quality, and food safety standards. + Your schedule includes weekend work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, along with one 8‑hour weekday shift. This will be a 4-day work week. Weekend shifts consist of three 12‑hour overnight shifts, with start times between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The weekday shift will be an 8‑hour shift beginning at 10:00 p.m. Additional shifts may be added based on business needs.

  • + Perform cleaning, sanitation, and basic janitorial duties across production areas, offices, and common spaces + Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, and facility surfaces + Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for proper cleaning + Follow sanitation procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards + Properly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and personal protective equipment + Remove waste, dispose of materials correctly, and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility + Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards + Document sanitation activities and report any issues to leadership + Support production teams by ensuring equipment and areas are ready for operation + Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment •Ingredients Required for Your Success•+ High school diploma or GED + Experience in sanitation, janitorial, or manufacturing environments preferred + Knowledge of sanitation processes and food safety standards preferred + Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble equipment + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality + Strong teamwork and communication skills + Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime + Commitment to following all safety and sanitation procedures •Physical Requirements•More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process.
Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include: + Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. + Performing consistent repetitive tasks. + Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
