Sanitation Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to join our team to ensure a clean and orderly environment for employees and visitors. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility by performing cleaning tasks, restocking supplies, and supporting projects as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.

Required Qualifications:

Previous cleaning, custodial, or janitorial experience Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand, bend, or lift for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Effective communication skills to interact with supervisors and team members Reliable time management skills with the ability to follow set schedules Consistently punctual and able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling practices

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and other common areas Empty trash bins, replace liners, and transport waste to designated disposal area Replenish supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and other facility areas Perform special weekly deep cleaning projects such as carpet cleaning and other specialized tasks Maintain and properly operate cleaning equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition Clean, organize and maintain company vehicles Adhere to established cleaning schedules and complete assigned responsibilities efficiently Monitor facilities for maintenance needs, safety hazards, or repair issues, and promptly report them to management Safely handle and store all cleaning chemicals and materials, following all safety standards Provide assistance to facility users, addressing cleaning related needs and requests as they arise Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and reorder supplies as necessary Support additional facility projects and special assignments as needed Join our team as a Sanitation Technician and play a critical role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and organization of our workplace.
