SAP- Student Assistance Program Liaison

Student Assistance Program (SAP) Liaison York County Schools employed by TrueNorth Wellness Services Full-Time York and Hanover, PA No Holidays or Weekends! Summers OFF! Pay Rate starts at $16.83 per hour and increases with experience.

Responsibilities include:

Provide consultation to elementary, middle and high school SAP teams. Attend regular meetings. Conduct mental health and substance use assessments, and make referrals to appropriate services. Provide supportive mental health counseling, including Substance Use Disorder education. Run school-based support and education groups. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Training is provided!

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a human service field. Some experience/knowledge of substance abuse is preferred. The position requires three clearances and a training certificate: Pennsylvania ChildLine Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Check and Mandated Reporting training.
