• Job Description
• Join a small and dedicated team as a Saw Operator in York County, where you will play a crucial role in cutting cast iron bars to size using large automatic band saws. This position offers an opportunity to work in a close-knit environment with a family-owned company that values its employees.
• Shift and Pay
• First Shift - 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Pay:

$24.50/hr

• Responsibilities
• + Operate large automatic band saws to cut 6 and 12 foot dura-brs (cast iron bars) to size. + Use a forklift and overhead crane to transport materials to the saw. + Measure, cut, and band materials together, ensuring accuracy and quality. + Place the finished product on pallets for shipping. + Utilize the Oracle system to read and process orders.
• Essential Skills
• + Experience with saw operation or similar equipment. + Proficiency in reading a tape measure. + Ability to operate a forklift.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience with Oracle systems is a plus but not required.

• Work Environment
• The work environment is a small shop with 3 to 5 people at any given time, ensuring a tight-knit community. The position operates on the first shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch and a 15-minute break. The focus is on maintaining a laid-back atmosphere while ensuring productivity and quality.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $24.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
