RESPONSIBILITIESOperate controls for sawing machinery and conveyor system to cut stock and move product through the processAdjust machine speed and tension when necessary to meet specificationsStraighten rough edges of lumber by trimming defectsEstablish the blade, type, and grade needed to complete the work orderCount, sort, and stack finished productMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentClean and lubricate sawing machinery and resolve jamsSharpen or replace worn bladesComply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
