Scale Buyer

Position Overview:

The Scale Buyer is responsible for accurately weighing incoming and outgoing materials at our metal recycling facility, ensuring proper documentation of all transactions. Key Responsibilities Weigh incoming and outgoing materials using facility scales, recording accurate weights and details for each transaction. Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting and communicating effectively with customers, vendors, and drivers. Utilize computer systems to input and track data, ensuring all records are complete and accurate. Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Work efficiently under pressure during high-volume periods or when handling multiple priorities. Demonstrate a willingness to learn new processes and grow within the company. Qualifications Strong computer skills and experience with data entry or inventory tracking systems. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
