Covia is looking for a dynamic Scale Operator who will have a positive impact on our team at our Marston, NC location. The Administrative Associate at the Marston facility will primarily be responsible for weighing trucks in and out, organizing bills of lading, and receive & assist visitors and telephone callers. Strong multi-tasking skills are required. The successful candidate will have the following
Key Accountabilities:
Ensure safe work operations and enforce safety and health rules. Coordinate and maintain effective office procedures and efficient workflow. Perform various routine administrative and secretarial duties, such as preparation of correspondence, reports, and maintenance of files. Implement policies and procedures set by Management. Fill in for the Office Administrator as needed assuring office matters requiring attention are properly handled. Weigh trucks in and out. Enter and maintain correct wanted delivery dates for all customer orders. Run reports for weekly shipments. Print out Bills of Lading for orders. Check email & fax for new orders on a regular basis, enter as needed. Enter employee hours & download all new data into payroll system as required. Enter other data as required. Maintain daily shipment report. Order & maintain office supplies as needed. Order rail cars in the absence of the Office Administrator. Bill Rail cars daily via Bourque. Complete COA data for customers. Receive and assist visitors and telephone callers and refer them to the appropriate person as circumstances warrant. Represent the company in a positive and enthusiastic manner to telephone callers and visitors. Attend monthly safety and team meetings as appropriate. Ensure office housekeeping is maintained. Perform other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have the following
Minimum Qualifications:
