Scalp Health Therapist | Pearl & Root Pearl & Root is seeking a warm, client focused Scalp Health Specialist to join our growing scalp wellness team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about scalp health, hair wellness, client education, and creating an elevated guest experience in a calm, detail driven environment. At Pearl & Root, we specialize in non-medical scalp wellness services designed to support scalp balance, healthy hair habits, relaxation, and overall client confidence through customized scalp focused treatments and education. We provide comprehensive on the job training in our signature protocols, client experience standards, scalp analysis process, product knowledge, and service flow.

Applicants must either:

Hold an active Oregon Esthetics or Hair Design license OR Be willing to complete Oregon Natural Hair Care licensure requirements

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough client consultations and scalp assessments to evaluate scalp appearance, hair concerns, product buildup, dryness, oil balance, and overall scalp condition Perform customized scalp wellness services using Pearl & Root protocols, tools, products, and treatment techniques Educate clients on home care recommendations, scalp wellness routines, product usage, and healthy hair habits Maintain detailed client records, service notes, treatment plans, and progress documentation according to company standards Create a luxury level client experience through attentive communication, professionalism, and personalized care Recommend retail products, memberships, and ongoing treatment plans based on client goals and scalp needs Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of treatment rooms and tools according to Oregon state requirements Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in client care and overall guest experience Stay informed on current trends and continuing education related to scalp wellness, hair health, and cosmetic treatment services Qualifications & Skills Strong customer service and client communication skills Passion for wellness, beauty, scalp health, and client transformation Ability to build trust and educate clients in a supportive and professional manner Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards Interest in scalp wellness, hair care science, and holistic beauty practices Experience in luxury spa, salon, wellness, esthetics, or client care environments preferred Familiarity with common scalp concerns such as dryness, buildup, irritation, or thinning hair is a plus Comfortable recommending products and long term treatment plans Positive attitude, coachability, and willingness to learn Pearl & Root systems and protocols What We Offer Paid hands on training in Pearl & Root signature services and systems Luxury wellness work environment Ongoing education and growth opportunities Flexible scheduling opportunities Supportive team culture Performance based earning potential through services, memberships, retail, and upgrades
