Job Description

$1,000 Sign-on Bonus! Are you passionate about helping children and adolescents succeed socially, emotionally, and academically? Join Woodfords Family Services as a School-Based Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) and make a positive difference for students in Maine communities—right where they learn and grow. We're hiring full-time BHPs to support students in public school settings across Central Maine , with current openings in Turner, Leeds, and Greene (MSAD 52) . Candidates must hold a minimum of 90 college credits to be eligible for the Ed Tech III certification to apply. Position Summary As a School-Based BHP, you'll provide individualized, strengths-based support to students in public school settings. Working collaboratively with educators and clinical teams, you will: Support students' behavioral, social, emotional, and developmental goals Implement evidence-based behavioral health interventions Promote positive coping skills, routines, and independence Foster a safe, therapeutic, and engaging learning environment Adapt supports based on each student's unique needs
Opportunity Details Full-Time :
32-35 hours per week
Hourly Pay :
$20.00-$22.00 (based on experience) $1,000 Sign-On Bonus after successful completion of a 60-day introductory period
Locations :
Turner, Leeds & Greene (MSAD 52) Qualifications 90 college credits required to obtain Ed Tech III certification Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, education, or related field preferred BHP certification preferred but not required! (Training will be provided upon hire) Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle Not certified as a School-Based BHP? We'll cover the training!
