Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract A full-time opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to deliver vital support to K-12 students within a welcoming school environment. This contract role, spanning the current academic year, centers on fostering student mobility, strength, and independence through individualized physical therapy services—direct and consultative—delivered alongside a dedicated educational team. As part of this collaborative network, you'll have the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and adolescents.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Active Pennsylvania PT license or eligibility for licensure in progress Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred Exceptional communication skills with students, caregivers, and staff
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough physical therapy assessments and develop student-specific treatment plans Provide both direct and consultative therapy, focusing on functional improvement and access to learning Partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to weave therapy goals into students' educational programs Track, document, and adapt interventions based on student progress and evolving needs
What You Can Expect:
Compensation for this position ranges from $53/hour to $65/hour for experienced Physical Therapists with IEP experience.
