Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a part-time Physical Therapist serving students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract position allows you to support children's growth and mobility, making a meaningful impact in an educational setting. With a flexible, 20 hour per week schedule, you'll have the chance to maintain work-life balance while working with a collaborative team of professionals.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license in West Virginia (or ability to obtain before start date) Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Understanding of IEP process and ability to contribute relevant input Strong communication and organizational skills Compassionate approach with a commitment to helping children reach their potential
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate students referred for physical therapy and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student goals Deliver direct therapy services within school settings while documenting progress Contribute to IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and reports Offer training for staff and guidance for classroom integration of therapy strategies Advocate for student needs in both academic and mobility settings
