Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist serving school-aged students in the Latta and Mullins, SC areas. Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Experience in a school environment is highly desired Familiarity with school-based PT documentation, including IEPs and related paperwork Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with students, educators, and families Ability to manage direct therapy, evaluations, and required meetings efficiently within the allocated timeframe
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct initial evaluations and reevaluations in compliance with state and school district standards Complete all required IEP paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain communication with staff and parents, providing updates and recommendations as needed In this position, you'll have the autonomy to set your schedule for one day each week, ensuring all therapy services and evaluations are completed within the expected 27 hours per month. The hourly compensation ranges from $40 to $50, reflecting your expertise and commitment to student development.
