Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this summer by providing essential physical therapy services within a supportive school setting for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. If you're passionate about helping students reach their full potential, this contract assignment could be a rewarding fit. This ESY opportunity offers a consistent schedule: three mornings a week—Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm, beginning with an orientation session on Monday, June 29th. Your term will run June 29th through August 6th, allowing you to contribute to student growth while maintaining work-life balance. Compensation for this role ranges from $38 to $45 per hour, reflecting your experience and commitment to students' success. What you'll need to bring: Valid PA SLP Educator License Experience or strong interest in providing PT services in a school-based environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs Professionalism, reliability, and strong organizational skills Daily responsibilities include: Delivering physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Collaborating with educators, staff, and families to support student progress Documenting assessments, progress, and interventions accurately and timely Engaging students in activities to maximize their independence and participation Ensuring a safe, positive, and encouraging therapeutic environment This is an ideal summer assignment for professionals wanting to make a difference and stay connected to their practice in a meaningful way.
