Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire A school district located just one hour east of Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-27 school year. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity is ideal for both experienced SLPs holding the CCC certification and Communication Fellows (CF) candidates ready to begin their careers in a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC strongly preferred Open to Communication Fellows (CF) candidates currently completing certification requirements Experience working with school-aged children in a school setting is beneficial Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families Ability to develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans that support student progress
Location:
Position is based in Paden, OK, approximately one hour east of Oklahoma City providing a convenient commute and community access
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote student communication skills Maintain detailed and timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay aligned with best practices
