Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment and make a real difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your expertise is valued and instrumental in shaping student success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist CCC credential preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply Experience with school-aged populations and individualized education programs (IEPs) Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organization skills Comfortable working with diverse student needs and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students referred by educators and parents Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and interventions for students with communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support IEP goals and integrate strategies in the classroom Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Provide guidance and resources for teachers and family members to support carryover of skills Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and attend required meetings You'll thrive in a supportive school atmosphere, have the autonomy to manage your caseload, and enjoy the fulfillment that comes from helping students achieve communication milestones.
