Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting K-12 students through the school year, August through May, as an integral Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity involves traveling within nearby districts to collaborate with other SLP professionals when needed, with mileage reimbursement to cover your travel. You'll primarily lead small group sessions, serving students with a range of communication needs—without the demands of individual session scheduling. Candidates with experience in educational settings and a passion for student success will thrive in this supportive, collaborative environment. This school-based role offers steady hours, Monday through Friday, averaging 36-37 per week, giving you a predictable schedule to plan around.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure by start date Prior experience working with K-12 students or in school settings preferred Strong team communication and collaboration abilities Comfortable traveling between local districts (mileage covered) Flexibility to adapt resources and approaches for a variety of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language services primarily in group settings Serve students across grade levels with diverse needs Coordinate with school staff and, occasionally, fellow SLPs for best practices Keep accurate records of student progress and trends Attend and contribute to relevant meetings as required Travel locally between districts for group sessions and professional collaboration
