Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role providing speech and language support to K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact as you collaborate with a caring team of professionals who are dedicated to student success.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field required Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Prior experience in school-based settings preferred but not mandatory Strong understanding of K-12 developmental milestones and IEP process Comfortable managing a diverse caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school students Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsResponsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement tailored intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams Maintain accurate documentation and complete progress reports in a timely manner Offer resources, strategies, and education to teachers and families to maximize student achievement As a valued member of the educational community, you'll create meaningful relationships while empowering students to reach their full communication potential.
